World of Warcraft Classic US Gold World of Warcraft Classic’s final raid is just around the corner but there’s still a little bit of time to work on your attunement for Naxxramas before the raid releases at the beginning of December.

Naxxramas is the last Vanilla content that will be added to WoW Classic before we start getting into Burning Crusade expansion territory. The patch for that content will officially arrive on Dec. 3 but a pre-update patch will be here much sooner.

For those who have been loving the re-released content and have been leveling raiding and stockpiling gear the unknown is what comes after Naxxramas. While there have been some rumors of Burning Crusade servers heading to Classic many are beginning to wonder what will be next for the game. It is possible that Blizzard could choose to continue into BC with patch 2.0 just as it did more than a decade ago. But where to after that?

Let's break down where we're at right now. Classic just added the "Shadow of the Necropolis" patch this week which is version "1.13.6" for Classic. In WoW terms it's patch 1.11.0. After that WOW Vanilla Gold there are only five more patches to go until we start to get into 2.0 Burning Crusade territory. Most of them are minor fixes before the "Drums of War" patch hits with 1.12.

Meanwhile Blizzard’s post today included some notable changes to the Scourge Invasion that will extend the event relative to the way it originally took place in 2006. This extension by Blizzard is intended to give players more time to farm those materials because of how much more populated servers are now compared to in 2006 when the game’s first expansion came to its conclusion.

There has been some pushback from the community over Naxxramas coming out right after the latest new WoW expansion Shadowlands which some say doesn't give players enough time to enjoy both but it seems Blizzard’s mind is made up.
