The latest NBA 2K22 update has been released, bringing with it new roster adjustments and new player ratings. Some of these adjustments may come as a shock, while others are to be expected, especially with the recent performances of some players.

The explosive playmaker has a tendency to fill up the box score quickly, like when he had 31 points, nine rebounds and seven assists in just 29 minutes in a season-opening win over the Indiana Pacers. The second-year pro has scored 25 or more points in four of his nine games.
LaMelo Ball is a fan favorite and the main reason why the Charlotte Hornets are performing well this season. His ability to distribute the ball is unparalleled and he's a great scorer. Not only did he receive a boost to his overall rating after the NBA 2K22 update, but he also saw a boost to his 3-PT Shooting rating as well.
Other notable upgrades include Clippers forward Paul George (+2, 90 OVR), Bulls guard DeMar DeRozan (+3, 88 OVR), and Spurs guard Dejounte Murray (+4, 86 OVR).
Charlotte has fared well to start the season, going 5-4 in its first nine games thanks in part to Ball's efforts. The 20-year-old is looking to lead the Hornets to the playoffs for the first time since 2016.
